In-person visits
Friendly company in a familiar setting. Have a conversation at home, share a favorite pastime, or enjoy a gentle change of scene together.
A little more company, a little less alone
A friendly face, a patient ear, and room to be yourself. Caring Ear offers thoughtful companionship primarily for older adults. Parents and guardians can also request visits for children experiencing isolation. Most visits are in person, with virtual visits when that suits you better.
“You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You can just come as you are.”
A different kind of visit
Some days you want to talk. Some days you want to remember, laugh, share a quiet cup of tea, or simply have someone there.
We meet you with warmth and respect. You choose what to share and where the conversation goes. There’s no pressure to perform, and no unsolicited advice about how you should live your next moment.
Caring Ear is being built as a small, personal service—so getting to know one another can come first.
See how visits workChoose what feels comfortable
We expect to begin with in-person companionship visits and offer virtual conversations as another way to stay connected.
Friendly company in a familiar setting. Have a conversation at home, share a favorite pastime, or enjoy a gentle change of scene together.
A warm, face-to-face conversation by video when meeting in person isn’t practical—or when you simply prefer to connect from home.
Talk about what’s on your mind, revisit memories, share interests, or let the conversation wander. You set the pace and the subject.
Visit length, scheduling, location, and pricing will be shared clearly before anything is booked.
A gentle place to begin
Browse easy prompts for a visit together. Skip any question that doesn’t feel right; you can always choose your own direction. Caring Ear’s app is for adults; a parent or guardian should use it to arrange visits for children.

Simple from the start
We’ll take the time to make the first hello feel easy.
Reach out with a question or tell us a little about the kind of company you’re looking for.
We’ll talk through your preferences, the location, and whether an in-person or virtual visit feels right.
Choose what you’d like to do or talk about. It’s okay if you’re not sure yet.
A clear and caring boundary
Caring Ear provides friendly social companionship. It is not therapy, counseling, medical care, personal care, or crisis support. Our companions don’t diagnose, treat, or direct your care. If you need urgent help or professional support, we’ll encourage you to contact the appropriate local service or a trusted care professional.
A few things you might be wondering
Caring Ear is primarily for older adults who would appreciate more friendly company. Parents and legal guardians may ask about visits for children; a guardian must make and coordinate those requests. The app is intended for adults and does not provide child accounts or child-to-companion messaging.
You decide. We might talk, share a quiet activity, or enjoy a cup of tea. We’ll agree on what feels comfortable before the visit begins.
Absolutely. Family members and trusted supporters are welcome to ask questions. The person receiving companionship stays at the center of decisions about their visits.
Our service area and availability are still being finalized. Please get in touch to ask about your location and preferred schedule.
A friendly first step
Tell us what you’re looking for. Your request can be shared from your device; Caring Ear will need to confirm a visit before it’s booked.
A request is not a confirmed booking. Contact details, service area, pricing, and availability are still being finalized.
